🔧 From construction to full operation – large-scale gas power installation This project is a great example of long-term involvement and real engineering in practice. I have been involved in this installation from the very beginning — starting during the construction phase, through commissioning, and continuing as a technical specialist providing ongoing support since 2023. The site consists of multiple gas engines delivering a total of 50 MW of power, forming a highly flexible modular power system. Gas is supplied at high pressure and reduced via monitor regulator systems. Due to the pressure drop, Joule-Thomson cooling is a key factor in the process. To ensure reliable operation, the system is equipped with heat exchangers maintaining water temperatures around 50°C. This prevents icing in the regulators and stabilizes the gas outlet temperature. At the early stages of the project, there were challenges and technical issues that required detailed analysis and persistence to resolve. These situations confirmed that installations of this scale require experience, understanding and the ability to stay focused under pressure. What is often underestimated is the sheer scale of this plant. Standing between rows of engines really puts into perspective how massive and complex these installations are. 💡 Not every installation is straightforward — but solving complex problems is what makes this work valuable. Proud to be part of this journey. #Engineering #GasSystems #PowerGeneration #Energy #Commissioning #TechnicalSupport #FieldEngineering #Jenbacher #AllanTSG
