We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to join our clients team supporting operations at Cadia Mine, operated by Newmont. This role offers the opportunity to work within a high-performing maintenance environment focused on improving fleet reliability, maximising equipment availability, and supporting safe and efficient mining operations. Working on an 8/6 roster, this position plays a key role in monitoring equipment performance, coordinating maintenance activities, and supporting reliability improvements across a large mobile fleet. About the Role As a Reliability Engineer, you will work closely with the Maintenance Manager, planners, and site teams to support equipment performance, investigate failures, and improve fleet reliability outcomes. Key responsibilities include: Monitoring and reporting on equipment availability, uptime, and maintenance performance Investigating equipment failures and quality issues to identify root causes and improvement opportunities Supporting maintenance planning and breakdown analysis in collaboration with planners and maintenance managers Conducting and reviewing oil sample analysis Preparing reports on maintenance KPIs and fleet performance Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to optimise equipment reliability Site & Fleet: You will be supporting a large and diverse mobile fleet at Cadia Mine, including: Caterpillar D6 Dozer - Caterpillar D11 Dozer Bell B50E Articulated Dump Truck Caterpillar 777 Dump Truck Caterpillar 793 Mining Truck Caterpillar 24M Motor Grader Hitachi EX3600 Excavator About You: 3+ years experience in a similar reliability, maintenance, or engineering role Experience working with mobile plant and mining equipment Roster & Accommodation: 8/6 roster - Day shift
