🚀🇺🇸 Gigawatt-Scale Data Center Partnership Forms in Texas 💡 Veteran developer Stream Data Centers is partnering with natural gas firm New Era Energy & Digital to develop a massive, power-ready data center campus in West Texas, marking a significant energy-to-digital infrastructure move. Here's what we know: 1ï¸⃣ 🤝 Strategic Partnership – A non-binding LOI outlines a joint venture: New Era provides land/local relations, an unnamed institutional investor offers equity/debt financing, and Stream brings development/operations expertise. 2ï¸⃣ ⚡ Scalable Power – The Texas Critical Data Centers (TCDC) campus plans an initial ~200MW, scaling beyond 1GW. Power will combine grid capacity with ~450MW of on-site natural gas generation. 3ï¸⃣ 🏗ï¸ Modular Design – Construction starts this year for a 2027/28 launch, using 25MW, 200,000 sq ft "Atom" modules, each supporting up to 2,500 racks and densities to 135kW. 4ï¸⃣ 📍 Expansive Site – New Era has acquired 438 acres near Odessa, with plans to buy 54 more, potentially hosting up to ten two-story data center buildings. Quick question: How pivotal are hybrid power models (grid + on-site generation) for the future of large-scale data center campuses? 🤔 (Date: April 2, 2026) #DataCenter #DigitalInfrastructure #Texas #EnergyTransition #Hyperscale #MissionCritical Join us at the DIFGC Thailand Gala to witness a pivotal moment of datacenters. 📅 May 27, 2026 📍 Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok 👉ï¸ Sign-up: https://lnkd.in/g5Xa2Rug
