Some days started with a reservoir engineering exam.. and ended in meetings with decision-makers. Today, I’m proud to reflect on my 2025 graduation in Petroleum & Natural Gas Engineering from the University of Khartoum, a journey that shaped my character as much as my education. I’m especially honored to have been supervised by Prof.Tagwa Musa, a leading figure in the Oil & Gas industry, a caring supervisor and an inspiring leader in Sudan. My university journey was never confined to classrooms. I moved between engineering, student leadership, humanitarian work and the private sector, sometimes all in the same day, shifting from technical problem-solving to partnerships, and from field realities to business strategy. As an undergraduate, I had the opportunity to contribute across these spaces, supporting initiatives that reached over 1,200 students and professionals, contributing to humanitarian efforts serving 1,500+ displaced individuals, and driving supply chain development efforts to consistent +10% growth on monthly showroom sales targets. In Sudan, while working with displaced communities in Islamic Relief Worldwide reshaped my understanding of impact and responsibility. Each of these experiences taught me how to adapt, think across sectors, and connect ideas between engineering, business management and real-world impact. My graduation project focused on an environmental and economic case study on flare gas utilization for power generation in a Sudanese CPF; navigating the optimization of industrial efficiency, resources mobilization and environmental sustainability in Sudan's developing energy sector. To every #mentor, #supervisor, #lecturer, #manager, #colleague, #friend and #family—Thank You for your trust, your support, and your belief in me.🤍 For more about each chapter of this journey, check my previous posts and the tagged photos below.👇🏼 Proud of my journey, and even more driven for what comes next in the Energy/Development sectors.🙏🏼🤍 #PetroleumEngineering #Energy #Sustainability #BusinessDevelopment #humanitarianwork #Sudan
