They must have demonstrated experience in applying Indigenous knowledge in a professional setting, adhering to cultural protocols, and working with a culturally safe approach. Knowledge of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (TRC) Calls to Action and a commitment to advancing reconciliation are essential. Fuel and Lube Technicians will be critical to ensure that our operation is running smoothly and safely. Operators must be able to climb vehicle steps, bend, crawl, and carry fuel hoses, and be responsible for the handling and care of hazardous substances. This will be a camp position, 14 days on and 14 days off. Qualifications: • Valid Class 1 or Class 3 licence with a clean drivers abstract • 5+ years of experience as a fuel and lube technician specifically on mining or heavy industrial job sites • Technical knowledge with manufacturers such as Caterpillar, Hitachi, John Deere, and Komatsu equipment, including excavators, dozers, articulated rock trucks, and other mining support equipment • Strong environmental awareness in spill-prevention protocols • TDG and WHMIS certificates are required Compensation: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour, depending on experience.
