Caterpillar IP’s showcase includes its power-dense 690hp C13D engine under development, the 800hp C18 series turbo-charged engine, and a remanufactured C7 highlighting the advantages of restoring old components to like-new performance.

Perkins is giving a show debut to the fuel-configurable, hybridised industrial power unit (IOPU), which has completed extensive development testing with hydrogen fuel. Known as Project Coeus, the IOPU has been developed with
Equipmake
and
Loughborough University
’s Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical & Manufacturing Engineering.

Also on show is the Perkins 2600 series, 13-litre diesel engine platform is designed to achieve best-in-class power density, torque, fuel efficiency and productivity.

Finally, Perkins is exhibiting a new battery-electric power unit technical demonstrator installed on a
McElroy Manufacturing, Inc.
TracStar 900i pipe fusion machine.
